Every custom software project is different, so every project is scoped before it is quoted. We work in three clear engagement models — and we will tell you honestly which one fits your situation, even if that is not hiring us.
1 · Discovery & Consultation
A fixed engagement that produces the plan your project needs before a single line of code is written.
Pricing: fixed engagement fee based on project complexity and discovery depth.
2 · Custom Project
End-to-end development of a web application, mobile application, or business operations system.
Pricing: project-based fee, typically milestone-based, determined by scope, timeline, and team requirements.
3 · Retainer & Ongoing Support
Continuous development, maintenance, and support for products that are live and growing.
Pricing: monthly retainer based on required support level and response times.

Discovery is a fixed engagement that runs before any code is written. You get a requirements analysis, architecture recommendations, a discovery report with a proposed tech stack, and an implementation roadmap with an effort estimate — everything needed to quote and plan the build.
Both, at different stages. Projects are quoted as a project-based fee, typically paid per milestone, once scope is fixed after discovery. After launch, ongoing support and improvements move to a monthly retainer with a prioritized backlog and predictable cost.
It depends on scope, platforms, and integrations, so we do not publish starting prices. As planning figures, discovery sprints typically run KES 100,000–400,000, small web apps KES 500,000–1,500,000, and customer-facing platforms with payments KES 1,500,000–5,000,000.
